Did you know that if your community has a cable access station chances are you are eligible to sponsor a television program for free? In some larger areas the potential viewers can reach several million! This is why we “need” your help in spreading these incredible truths of Yahweh and his Son Yahshua to areas all over the US and world via television. We as a ministry believe that not taking advantage of this free broadcasting would be foolish. See below for nationwide cable access listings.
A little about the Discover the Truth Program- The Discover the Truth Program is recorded at the home office of Yahweh’s Restoration Ministry located in Holts Summit, MO (approx 8 miles from the Missouri state capital). The program's opening and music have an ancient Biblical/Archaeological feel. Superb graphics and production give this program a clean professional image worthy of the truth it emanates. We use all broadcast equipment for the production, postproduction and duplication. Professional lighting and set design gives the host a warm clean (non-cluttered) look. Solid Bible teachings are taught using a tactful and professional style. Interesting topics are presented to keep the viewer coming back. The program is 30 minutes long (28:30 broadcast time) and we try to recorded a new program every week. All video is kept to broadcast standards and is monitored with test equipment during production, postproduction and duplication. We feel that to compete for viewers, we must have not only good content but a clean professional look that people are use to in our modern tech age.
Ok, how can I be a sponsor? Check the Yellow Pages of your phone directory for "Television-cable" or "CATV." Ask whether the station has public access, and if so, speak to the public access programming manager or someone who handles their public access channel programming. Explain that you are a local resident and would like to sponsor an out-of-state, weekly Bible program for your community. We can provide with a demo tape or DVD and information about the program to present to the station’s programming manager on request. Most cable stations will not charge a fee. If they do, would you as a sponsor be willing to finance the program? Most of the time the yearly fee is under $100. Once approved, we will begin sending you program DVDs, which you must personally deliver to the station — perhaps once a month — and pick up the used DVDs that have been aired. You can keep these DVDs for your personal collection. If your station needs the program on tape or other media, you would then mail the used media back to us for re-duplication.
How to Choose a Time Slot... Most of the time the station will give you a list of open program time slots and let you pick the time for broadcast. Remember to always choose a prime time slot if possible. In the US prime time is 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific and 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Central and Mountain Monday–Saturday. Remember that on Sundays, prime time begins an hour earlier
What media
formats can we provide?
How Can I help, if I do not have a station in my area? Do you know of someone (friend/family) in a nearby access area that would be willing to sign the cable access agreement for sponsorship? If so, then you can deliver the media to the station. Most stations only need a signature from a viewer and you can take over from there.Your tithes and offerings in support of Yahweh's Restoration Ministry allow us to continue furthering this work.
